People over profits.

Phoenix-Metro DSA is fighting for a better future with equitable and sustainable resource distribution, gender and racial equality, and liberation from all forms of oppression.

In Phoenix. Throughout the Valley. In Arizona. In America and beyond our borders.

Democratic Socialists of America is the largest socialist organization in the United States, with over 70,000 members and chapters in all 50 states. We believe that working people should run both the economy and society democratically to meet human needs, not to make profits for a few.

We are a political and activist organization, not a party; through campus and community-based chapters, DSA members use a variety of tactics, from legislative to direct action, to fight for reforms that empower working people.

Phoenix DSA welcomes you no matter your availability or level of commitment. DSA is a broad, diverse coalition of workers, activists, parents, and students. We welcome your support and camaraderie in any form or capacity.

Our Fight for Public Parks

Hundreds of Phoenix Metro DSA members are Tempe residents and do mutual aid in our community.

The Tempe City Council voted on July 2nd to make it even more difficult for us to take care of our own communities, including our unhoused community, by approving a costly and unfair park permit for groups like ours that feed the unhoused.

We’ve launched a referenda petition to take this decision directly to Tempe voters, and out of the hands of city council.
